⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪ Leinster Senior Major 1D League Result: SCORE: Kingswood Castle FC 5-2 Newbridge Town FC GOALS: Ross Molloy ⚽⚽ Adam Burns ⚽ Alex Rafferty ⚽ Justin Doyle ⚽ REPORT: A smashing game of ball in Whelan Park but one which seemed it could be one of those days as we found ourselves frustrated ? in the first 15 minutes with Brandon Miele, Adam Burns & Nathan Dunne all hitting the wood-work!! A new position for Jack Murphy seen him deployed in an anger role in midfield which gave more freedom for Doyle, Kinsella & Molloy to get forward. Brandon Miele was the target up front & his control, awareness while bringing his team mates into play was exception all day. When the goals did come Ross Molloy grabbed himself a brace his first a mistake from the visitors Goalkeeper & his second a piece of individual brilliance with him cutting through their defense to finish with a low shot. Two up at the break we kicked onwards with the same intensity which saw Justin Doyle forcing there defense into a mistake with him slotting home, Adam Burns netting a toe like in from an exquisite croos by Haydon Boland before Skipper Alex Rafferty's splendid volley which put us 5-0. Credit to Newbridge they did grab two late goals but it could of been more if not for our Shot Stopper Josh Smith pulling off two low pilldrivering saves. Man of this match was Fergal Kinsella who must of covered every blade of grass in an epic display of grit & he also added two assists to his name too.
