⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪ Premier 1 League Result: SCORE: Glasnevin FC 3-2 Kingswood Castle FC GOALS: Conor Murray ⚽️ Aaron Mc Donagh ⚽️ REPORT: Hard conditions for both side to play any sort of football on a pitch that was cutting up badly as it was extremely soft. A good start saw Conor Murray net early only for the home side to draw level a few minutes later. It looked even enough as the half time whistle was about to blow, only Glasnevin won a corner & scored what was a soft goal from our point of view. Second half we got a lot of joy on the wings but couldn't take advantage of the opportunities that were created & there were many!!. At the other end Darren Kelly in goal pulled off two fine saves, but shortly after a couple of mistakes at the back saw us concede two goals & it was an uphill battle with 20 minutes left. Changes were made & we had no other option but to go for it. Aaron Mc Donagh got on the end of a Paul Bracken corner to steer home a well taken goal 10 minutes from the end but we just couldn't grab a late equaliser that we felt would have been deserved. Special mention to our Player Aaron Mc Donagh as he heads off to Australia next week with his girlfriend, we wish them both a safe trip & good fortune, we will miss him.
