KIRKLEY & PAKEFIELD 0 HEACHAM 0

Hoping to follow up on their fine 2-1 mid-week away win at high flying Mulbarton Wanderers, the Kirkley & Pakefield FC 1st team were in a mid-table tussle last Saturday at home to Heacham. The match turned into a dull goalless draw with hardly a worthwhile attempt on goal by either side in over 90 minutes of football, with a point a piece gained. This Saturday the ‘Royals’ are at home again at the Lavish Life Competitions Stadium against bottom of the table Sheringham FC 3.00 ko with hopefully more goals on show this weekend. Next Tuesday evening (25th) the ‘Royals’ are away on their travels with an awkward longish rearranged match to the very much improved Cornard United 7.45 ko.
After two good home wins the ‘Royals Reserves’ went down to a heavy 5-0 defeat at fourth place Holt United last Saturday.
The ‘Royals’ Under 23s cruised to a 6-0 away win a struggling bottom of the table Wymondham Town Reserves with goals from sub George Lansdale 2, Kian Coote, Grady Croft, Andre Dowe and Connor Williams. They have no match this weekend.
In the semi-finals of the Suffolk County FA U18s Mid-week Cup AFC Royals U18s have been drawn to play AFC Sudbury U18s at the neutral venue of Walsham Le Willows FC next Wednesday 26th March 7.45 ko. In the other semi-final the evening before at Bury Town FC, Haverhill Rovers play Needham Market.
