The Northern Suburbs Local FA Tournament kicks off on Friday 27 March at Bishop Lavis

Kuils River AFC's(KRAFC) First Team have registered as one of the participants in this weekend's Northern Suburbs Local Football Association Inter-Club Tournament. 28 Teams will head to Bishop Lavis for this quick-fire tournament featuring 25 minute halves and bonus points for a "Score Draw". Perfect conditions for fast football and hard pre-season running. KRAFC will get the tournament underway against Ravensmead A on Friday evening at 18:30 on field B, along with Invincible Cravenby and Kraaifontein City playing on field A. Fixtures for KRAFC on Saturday 28 March against Bellstar United(10:30 on Field C) and Blue Downs Spurs(14:30 on Field A) round off our round-robin fixtures.

Sunday 29 March sees the top 2 teams as well as 2 best 3rd place teams battle it out in the Winners Section Last 16 and the remaining 3rd and 3 best 4th placed teams contest the Plate Section Quarter Finals

An interesting attacking incentive by the Union is also the addition of a bonus point for a Score Draw(1-1, 2-2, 3-3, etc). So teams playing attacking football will look to benefit from this rule. Teams who draw 0-0 will still earn 1 point, and winners pocket 3 points.

Spectators are welcome to attend and support the team with entry to the field on Bishop Lavis Drive only being R5 for spectators and cars, and R3 for children. Be sure to pop in and snap a few photo's for the website.
