Stafford Rangers
Rangers have occupied top spot at three different points this season, but after a tough run of results, they sit in 11th. Since beating Liversedge at the beginning of October, they have struggled, picking up three points through three draws, with a loss in that four-game run too.

Forward Kaiman Anderson has been their most dangerous threat, recording six goals for Boro' this season, two in the FA Trophy with the other four coming in the league. They have generally shared the rest around, but their goals have often been cancelled out - their three recent draws all ending in a 1-1 scoreline.

Lancaster City
City triumphed in their last match, a 3-2 thriller against Gainsborough Trinity in the FA Cup which featured a far better performance than the closeness of the result suggests. It was the second Trophy win in as many games, but Mark Fell will want to take the team's consistency in that competition into the Northern Premier League, where the going has been tougher.

The clean sheet in the last league game against Stalybridge was City's first since September and a definite positive despite the draw. Stafford are a quality side as their early season form demonstrated, but Fell has stressed the need for swift points and reward for the improved performances of recent weeks.

Head-to-Head
Stafford and Lancaster last met in March, where a 2-1 turnaround win was completed in the first half. Goals from Jack Byrne and Enock Likoy's first for Lancaster overcame the hosts' early strike.

Here are the last five results across all competitions:

19/03/2022: Stafford Rangers 1-2 Lancaster City (Northern Premier League)
