Lancaster City are delighted to announce the signing of Goalkeeper Aidan Dowling to the Giant Axe from League of Ireland Division One champions, Cork City.

The 22 year-old returns to the club after appearing for the Dolly Blues whilst on loan from Blackburn Rovers in October 2021. Whilst at Ewood Park Dowling also had loan spells at Halifax and Marine.

After leaving Blackburn in 2023 he joined NIFL Premiership Champions Larne, before moving to Ireland and Cork City, where he was released at the end of their title winning 2024 campaign in October

Aidan made his debut in the 1-1 draw against Workington Yesterday (21st December)
