Barnoldswick Town:
To reach the first qualifying round of this years FA Cup, Barnoldswick had to overcome Northwich Victoria in the preliminary phase. Barnoldswick were taken to a replay where they came out 4-2 winners. In their last league outing, Stephen Pickup’s side took all three points away to Abbey Hey courtesy of goals from William Procter and Gareth Hill.
Monday’s win places Barnoldswick Town 10th in the North West Counties Premier Division on 11 points. William Procter will be the man to keep on eye on as he sits joint second in the goal scoring charts on six goals.
Lancaster City:
Lancaster City head into the fixture after securing their fifth consecutive draw away to Mickleover. The goalless draw continues the unbeaten run to the start of the season but Chris Willcock will be hoping for a turn in fortune tomorrow afternoon. The draw keeps City in ninth place with eight points on the board.
Chris Willcock will have a selection headache to deal with as a number of key players miss out through injury. However, the Dolly Blues will have new recruit Ted Lavelle available following his arrival from Halifax Town. Lancaster City’s next league outing will come next weekend as the long trip to Gainsborough Trinity awaits.
