Matlock Town:
The Gladiators currently sit bottom of the table after picking up one point in their first four games. Nicky Law’s side picked up their sole point in match day one following a goalless draw with Prescott Cables. In their most recent match, Matlock Town were dispatched by Worksop Town who ran out eight-nil winners.

Nicky Law’s side will be hoping for a turn in fortune when they travel to the Giant Axe. The last time the two sides met came on the 9th March when Curtis Durose and Adam Yates secured a 2-1 home victory at the Proctor Cars Stadium.

Lancaster City:
Lancaster City made it four games unbeaten as they picked up another point following a goalless draw with Warrington Rylands on Tuesday evening. Heading into the fixture, Chris Willcock added Aaron Bennet to his squad who was in from the off to make his City debut. Tuesday evening also allowed Aaron Fleming to make his first start since joining the club.

The goalless draw on Tuesday aids Lancaster City in placing 9th on six points. Chris Willcock will be hoping draws turn to wins starting from tomorrow afternoon. The Dolly Blues last picked up a win versus the Gladiators last season as Christian Sloan fired a 90th minute winner past Saul Deeney.
