On Saturday 14th April - 39 people turned up at the Bentra Golf Course to participate in the Annual Fun Golf day. This was intended to be precisely what it was advertised as "A Fun Golf day" and we believe the format of the day made it a success.

With a shot gun start in meant that everyone started together, finished together and encouraged was plenty of banter while out on the course.

Teams were:
Knox
Wilson
Cooke
McCluggage
Adair
McFetridge
Irwine
Montgomery

The winning team consisted of Gary Knox, Ryan Garrett, Bobbie Garrett, Derek Lough. Longest Drive was achieved by Bobbie Garrett and Closest to the pin was Rab Tweed

Back in the rugby club clubhouse afterwards there was plenty of food to be had by all. It was also where the winning team had a 1 minute behind to the bar to pull as many pints as one could. Derek Lough who was the nominee for the team managed 19 pints in the 60 seconds allocated. This ensured his team stuck around for a while to hoover them up :)
