2022/2023 season

SEASON START DATE: Sunday 4th September 2022

Registration

The registration process for this season remains the same as last. You need to request affiliation for your child through GMS as well as filling in this seasons registration form (available to download at the bottom of this page) and making payment. Once we have all that, our registrations secretary will approve your child's affiliation to the club for the season and they're fully insured to play.

As a reminder, here's the RFU guidelines for requesting affiliation through GMS here.

We are unable to confirm your re-affiliation until you have

1. Completed your re-affiliation request
2. Fully completed the membership form and handed to age group manager
3. Made payment

There will be plenty of people available at the club each Sunday throughout September to deal with any queries/issues you have with registration.

Kit

Kit remains the same as last season so you don't need to purchase a new one unless your child has had a growth spurt or lost any of it! Any new kit requirements should be noted on the membership form and notified to your age group manager..

Keeping in contact

Throughout the season, we'll keep in touch with you in various ways so that you're kept up to date with fixtures information and any events that are happening.

WHATSAPP

Your team manager will add you to the team WhatsApp group. This is where you'll receive regular information from the team manager about what's happening. This is also the quickest method of getting last minute information to you when there are changes due to the weather, which inevitably happen every season.

FACEBOOK PAGE

The Mini & Juniors Facebook page will be updated with information on fixtures and events. We'll also share club-wide events to this page that we think you'll be interested in such as senior home games, televised sport at the club and the annual firework display.

Leaving your child

You should stay with your child while they are training or playing games. If you need to leave your child, you must leave a nominated parent in charge of your child who is able to contact you or make decisions in your absence should the need arise. Please inform your team manager or coach when this happens.

Events

This year we are planning our usual events such as bonfire night, the mini Christmas party , tours and festival. Look out for announcements about them and please support by offering help and completing forms or anything else you're asked to do in a timely manner.
