He has had to step down due to his work commitments with Crewe Alex FC but we are delighted to hear that he will be carrying on as a player next season.

Pettitt returned to the club 5 years ago when Dan Hyde brought him in as Captain and he led the team to the treble and promotion in his first season. The very next season he lifted the Premier League trophy as CSOB were crowned champions.

Everyone at the club thank Sam for all of his effort and commitment over the last few seasons. He has been a great captain and manager for the club and someone who has CSOB in his blood. We look forward to seeing him in the shirt again next season leading by example.
