Leek Towns popular Beer Festival returns on Tuesday 23rd July as Leek host Macclesfield Town in another great pre season friendly.

The Beer Festival starts on the Tuesday and finishes on the following Sunday with an event on everday - giving more time for you to sample the delicious beers, ales and ciders on offer.

Originally the Festival was going to start on Thursday but this has been brought forward to accomodate the Macclesfield game.

The end of the Festival on Sunday, also known as Cider Sunday, we will see the final of the Leek Charity Shield - and this will be contested by Ball Haye Green & Leek CSOB, a mouth watering prospect and we hope as many people from the town will come down to watch the event.

The game has some extra spice this year as players and managers from both clubs have moved between Clubs so everyone is expecting a great game.

All gate proceeds from the Leek Charity Shield will go to the Kieran Rutter Legacy Fund.
