Its been a busy couple of weeks for Neil Baker and his backroom staff as they have been busy assembling their squad for the 2021/22 season.
Pre season training commenced in the last week of June and the first friendly is scheduled awaiting at Abbey Hulton on Thursday 8 July, this closely followed by an away trip to Macclesfield FC on the Saturday.
Joining the Club for the new campaign is Scott Wara, Josh Ryder and Dan Trickett-Smith.
Scott has been released by the Stoke City U23 squad and began to train with the squad last year, he is a strong imposing defender who can play in a variety of positions.
Josh joins us from near neighbours Congleton Town where he has played in the centre of defence for the last two seasons. Previously Josh was a scholar at Port Vale.
Danny, is no stranger to the Club, and is a crowd favourite at the Club. He returns on a permanent basis after his release from a professional contract at Port Vale.

The Club is also pleased to announce the following existing players have committed to the Club and have been registered as Leek Town players, in fact the only playes who have left are James Kirby who has opted to join City of Liverpool, and Leon Ashman who is taking a break from football at the moment.
