Little Hulton travelled to Bury this week to meet a team just 1 point below them in league,in a good position to cement second in league standings.Little Hulton started strongly for a change and pressured the Bury line for long periods without managing to get in front.Lee parsons finally broke the deadlock taking a pass to force his way over with 2  men hanging on to him.Bury responded only for Little Hulton, now looking safe till an error on their own line lead to a soft bury touchdown, try being converted. This brought Little Hulton back to boil bringing Wave upon Wave of attacks to the bury line.Right on half time Andrew Riley collected a clever inside pass to touch down again wide out, little Hulton failing to convert.Little Hulton then had to face the hill with only a slender 8 6 lead.Bury started brightly and after some sloppy play at marker bury scored wide out.Again Little Hulton was up against it and came to the fore,Lee parsons showing the way with his second try, to be followed by a block busting run from half way from mike Bolton to give Little Hulton some breathing space, with Sean foster putting on the extras.Little Hulton had hit a purple patch, after another break the reliable dobbsy, joining in the backs to draw the full back for Hessian to scored under  posts for the second week running. The kickers were struggling in the strong wind and again converstion was missed.Bury at this point was losing their discipline and Cahill went steaming in after another break down the little Hulton left side. After Lee parsons was held on the try line veteran prop Dave Bennett an unsung hero of the Little Hulton pack went bursting through 5 players, not forgetting the little side step dummy to register his first try for the club. Little Hulton relaxed allowing Bury  some time in their half, scoring twice pull the score back to 20 32 Bury then had belief they could get some thing out of the game, from a high crossfield kick lee parson collected the ball on his own line to side step 2 defenders and pass inside to mark(sparky) Parsons with plenty of green infront of him went off from under his own posts to go the length of field leaving defenders in his tracks for possibly the try of the season,Bolton converting this killing off the Bury revival for the  the game to finish 20 points to 38 for a fine Little Hutlon win
