Lincoln United FC can announce that Mikey Antkowiak and Ross Woolley have both agreed to sign for 'The Whites' in preparation for the 2020/21 season.

Both keepers come from a high level of football with Antkowiak having played at local NPL clubs; Trinity and Grantham Town, as well as starting his career at Lincoln City. Whilst Woolley, who debuted for 'The Whites' in the 2019/20 season's last game v Leek Town, joins the club having been a YT at Lincoln City.

The club caught up with both keepers earlier this week. "I'm looking forward to getting going this season. I feel after playing in a men's league for the majority of last season, it's set me up for my next chapter, joining Lincoln United, enabling me to further my development. I'm excited for the new challenge and the chance to improve from working with Sam and rest of the management team", added Woolley.

Whilst Antkowiak had this to say on his move, "I'm happy to have signed for the coming season. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the new season brings with Lincoln United, I'm sure we can gel together quickly and finish as high as possible in the league".

As both keepers come with a good background having played at well established clubs, the 1st team's goalkeeper coach, James Morgan commented on the new shot stoppers. "Ross came on loan from Lincoln City when Sam came back last season and despite only playing in one game and one training session, he came across as a very assured, confident, mature keeper for his age and has an opportunity to better his attributes".

"Mikey Antkowiak started at Lincoln City and was very unlucky no to be taken on as a professional. He is not only an excellent shot stopper but his all round goalkeeping is very good. I'm very excited and looking forward to be able to coach them both. I've no doubt both men will push each other for the number one spot which can only be good news for the team".

After the announce of T R Weston & Son Ltd becoming the club's first 'Platinum Partner', the club's commercial brochure is available to be viewed below. Both Ross and Mikey are available for player sponsorship for the coming season.
