This afternoon, Lincoln United Football Club can release the devastating news that the Women's First Team have been removed from The Vitality Women's FA Cup due to an administration error.

The club would like to record that we have fantastic volunteers who put their every effort into supporting our football club. As a non-league football club, run by and for the local community, we are naturally, extremely disappointed in the outcome.

Our women's team focus now turns to all three other competitions, which starts on Sunday away at Basford United FC.
