Manager Sam Wilkinson has brought in experienced central midfielder Steve Ridley.

Steve started at Scunthorpe. This was followed by spells at Barrow, Buxton, North Ferriby, Scarborough and a brief spell at Bottesford.

More recently he was playing at Ossett Town were he was also Assistant Manager, reaching the play-offs last year in the Evo-stik North.

On the new acquisition Sam Wilkinson said: "I'm delighted with the signing.

"He will bring a lot of experience to this young squad.

"His talking on the pitch will help the young players.

"He is very competitive, but can also get on the ball and get us playing.

"I feel the time is right to strengthen and improve the team, and bringing in Steve will do this".

Steve will be available to make his debut for The Whites in our next home game verses Alvechurch.
