After a week break, Lincoln United return to action as they welcome Peterborough United to Ashby Avenue this Sunday in the FAWNL Division 1 Midlands.

Lee Mitchell’s side come into this game off the back of a 5-1 defeat to Northampton Town on the 9th March.

Home form since the turn of the year has been United’s biggest strength with just one defeat in four scoring eight conceding five in the process.

Opponents Peterborough United sit third in the league on 44 points and have only suffered one defeat since the turn of the year, a 1-0 defeat to Boldmere St Michaels.

Both clubs have faced each other twice this season, with the posh getting the better of United twice, a 4-0 win back in September in the league cup and 6-1 win in the league in October.

Victory on Sunday for Lee Mitchell and United can jump a place to 8th.
