After a midweek win over Newark Town, we host Wisbech at Ashby Avenue.
The 1-0 win over Newark means that we’ve reached the league cup final, as well as extending our unbeaten run to 17 games.
Harry Millard returned to the side on Tuesday, having missed a few weeks with injury. Sean Wright and Paul Grimes both missed the fixture.
Wisbech sit 15th in the league, on 35 points after 34 games. The Fenmen are unbeaten in their last 3, drawing with Shirebrook Town in their last match.
We won the reverse fixture 1-0, thanks to a Leo Priestley free kick on the first day of the season.
Manager Scott Hellewell previewed the fixture. He said:
“It will be another tough game, they’ve picked up recently and put a bit of a run together.
“We need to just focus on ourselves as usual and put in a battling performance. It would be nice to play some good football but it’s that time of the season where it’s the results that matter.”
Up the Whites.
