Another sunny (if a little icy!) afternoon for the Annual Rural Schools' Football Tournament, hosted by Harrow Way School. Organised by Owen Tromans of Kimpton School with referees from Lions in the Community, the event ran smoothly and sportingly. Well done to all schools for playing some excellent football and for representing yourselves and your schools so well.
A particular well done to Shipton Bellinger and Appleshaw St Peter's who reached the semi-finals and to Longparish and Clatford who made the final. Clatford edged a very tight, friendly game winning 2-1 after extra time.
Special thanks and 'Well Done!' must also go to Harrow Way students Kelly Butler, Joe Moulding, Emma Jones and Chloe Gleed who supported the whole event. They collected score cards, organised certificates, tidied equipment and even ran a line in the final (well done Joe!).
