FIVE STAR BLUES INTO FINAL

FIVE STAR BLUES INTO FINAL

Simon Jasinski31 Mar - 06:53

Seamus Evans found the net twice as Liss powered past Andover Town and into the George Mason Memorial Shield final.

Backed by a noisy following at Newman Collard, Mark Glazier's side got off to a shaky start when Henry Braggington headed the visitors ahead with just three minutes on the clock, before Evans levelled midway through the half, finding the corner from close range.

Evans capitalised on a defensive lapse to bundle home a third for Liss, before captain, Elliot Harrison acrobatically fired home a fourth to put the tie beyond Andover.

There was still time for substitute, Ralph Anelay to find the corner and add gloss to the 5-1 final score.
