Left-back is the latest confirmed player ahead of the new season

As Littlehampton Town continue their preparations for the new Isthmian League season, they are delighted to announce Kyle O'Brien will return to the squad. The 20-year-old played a part in our legendary triple-crown season and joins a roster of footballers who have either returned or joined the club over the summer.

"Kyle's a player we’ve always liked," said joint manager Mitchell Hand. "He played for us when he was just 17 and he’s got so much ability and potential."

After stints playing for Chichester and Lancing, left-back O'Brien is expected to come straight into the starting XI when the new season starts. Hand continued: "He’s proven over the last couple of seasons how good he is and he’s going to come into our side and improve our starting XI immediately."

O'Brien joins a list of big summer signings for Littlehampton Town that include Rob O'Toole, Alex Laing and Charlie Pitcher. They joined the retained list of Scott Kirkwood, Dave Herbert, Josh Short, Jordan Layton, Harry Heath and Marshall Ball.
