The Littletons are three villages (South Littleton, Middle Littleton and North Littleton) located South West of Evesham, Worcestershire.

Football has been played in the Littletons since 1893 when, on November 4th of that year, Littleton defeated Honeybourne 5 - 0 in a friendly games.

These games continued until Littleton Star joined the Bidford League in 1903/04, playing their games at the rear of the Chapel at Shinehill Lane, South Littleton.

Various other names were used by the Club, notably Littleton United and Littleton Rovers, before being called the Littletons from the mid 1950's.

Various grounds were also used for football in the Littletons; The Recreation Ground at South Littleton, the Graft or Croft at Middle Littleton, as well as the ground behind the Chapel, South Littleton.

A number of changing facilities were also used; the King Edward public house at South Littleton, the Fire Hut at the Recreation Ground in South Littleton, the Village Hall at Middle Littleton and the Ivy Public House in North Littleton.

In the late 1970's Littleton Football Club decided to purchase its own ground and, after looking at a number of sites, chose to purchase Five Acres on the Pebworth Road at North Littleton.

Since then the Club had improved facilities with purpose built changing rooms, a small clubhouse and a stand for spectators. Later the Club was granted planning consent for a new clubhouse and floodlights for the pitch.

Success took some time to arrive for Littleton Football Club, they had to wait until the 1910/11 season to win the first league title, the Bidford League.

After the First World War, Littleton had a long run of successful seasons winning a number of titles including the Bidford League, Stratford League, Worcester League and the North Cotswold and Vale of Evesham League.

There were also a number of Cup triumphs during the 1920's and 1930's. The years after the Second World War brought more success with league and cup wins.

From the mid 1950's and through the 1960's, Littleton struggled to compete with any consistency and great credit must go to Arnold Drinkwater for keeping the Club going.

The 1970's saw a Littleton resurgence with Jim Cox and Brian Ramsden at the helm, and the Club successfully chasing trophies and league titles.

The purchase of Five Acres in the 1970's saw a move in to the Midland Combination where the Club stayed for three seasons before financial constraints made the Club return to local football.

The 1980's and 1990's were a rollercoaster for The Tonboys with frequent promotions and relegations until the Club joined the Worcester League and started to find form, winning regularly.

Ahead of the 2001/02 season, Littleton return to the Midland Combination and gained instant success with promotions from Division Three into Division Two and then into Division One in successive seasons.

Alongside this league success came cup success with the club winning the County Cup and Evesham Hospital Cup.

By the 2010/11 season, Littleton added two more cups to the trophy cabinet whilst finishing runners-up in a third cup. The Club finished fifth in Division One of the Midland Football Combination.

A second place finish the following year saw The Tonboys promotion to Midland Combination Premier Division after finishing six points behind Blackwood who won the league and three ahead of Bromsgrove Sporting who finished third.

Further success for Littleton followed in the 2012/13 season, the Club once against finished runners-up, this time in the Combination Premier Division, the clubs highest ever finish.

By 2014/15 season, the Midland Alliance and Midland Combination had merged to created the Midland League with Littleton being placed in Midland Football League Division One.

The 2018/19 season was one to forget for the Club, finishing third from bottom before a move across to the West Midland (Regional) League followed for the 2019/20 season.

Covid-19 ripped across the world and the two seasons Littleton spent in the West Midland (Regional) League were both abandoned. On return to Football, The Tonboys had been moved across to the Hellenic League with local sides such as Pershore Town and Worcester Raiders in the same league.

A tenth placed finished in season one was backed up by and eighteenth finish in season two with Littleton relegated and taking up a place in Midland Football League Division Two for the 2023/24 season.

Gavin Heath lead the way for Littleton back in the Midland League but following a tricky start, a change of management was made in October 2023, with Adam Parker taking over the reigns having had much success with Pershore Town's Development Team.
