Albion off to a flyer in Anglesey

The first game of the season always has a certain buzz about it, that expectation of the season ahead all the talk of who's gonna be strong who won't and who will surprise it was nice to actually get going and play competitive football.

Traeauddyr Bay United The same team who lifted the Leauge 1 trophy only 15 months ago.
Talk was that have had a big squad rebuild over pre season they got Albions full respect regardless.
In the last two pre season games Albion had conceded early goals it was imperative we come out of the blocks fast and we did Dave Maddock knocking in from close range after a terrific save from the goal keeper. 1-0
Albion continued to dominate possession Dave hitting the bar ,Harry Roberts and Allan Davies all going close , in these situations it's important to keep calm we where creating chances at will it was only a matter of time Bay player no7 always looked dangerous and they looked to play him all the time down the right flank . HT 1-0 Albion.

We come in at half time happy but knowing we must be better in front of goal no disrespect to but Bay but Albion could have been home and dry but we must remember it's our first game the real sharpness will come.
We asked for another quick start and get Bay on the back foot again all that momentum gained would be to no avail if it didn't carry on.
And that's what we got a great ball forward by Jordan Kane and allan Davies nudged down a cushion header straight into Dave Maddock's path and he finished well excellent goal. 2-0.
Bay did ramp it up and had a go the game was pretty even after that but Albion always looked comfortable at the back the threat remained through 7.
Albion looked to seal the game when Allan Davies finished well 3-0.

In the last moments of the game Albion conceded a penalty when Azzy took down the bay player going for the ball on the floor , Azzy will be dissatisfied after an almost faultless performance they scored but again instant reaction and Chris Quinn was played in and finished excellently 4-1 FT.

Overall excellent performance started both halfs like a steam train and really killed Bays spirit Luke Fountain MOM and there was an excellent debut from RB Dan Hughes both wingers looked dangerous the back four where comfortable all game and Allan and Dave are striking up a great partnership up front.

Next up Llanberis Welsh cup.

Subs
Mike Williams > Joseph Carey
