On hearing this news, all the committee members, coaching staff and players along with the club supporters would like to wish Simon the best of luck and hope that one day we will see him back up at Maes Eilian in Llanfair colours.

We caught up with Simon earlier this week and he gave us this message to pass on to the supporters:

"I would just like to thank the Club, the supporters, Darren and all the playing boys for my time at Llanfairpwll fc. Since joining when at Bangor University I've thoroughly enjoyed myself playing for the club and I'm sad to be leaving. My decision to leave has come about because of increased work commitments and family ties in the north West and a desire for some more regular first team football. May i wish you the best of luck for the run-in and look forward to my new challenge at Grappenhall Sports fc. Kind regards, Giddo"
