Both teams were in action this weekend facing bersham and gwersyllt repectively. For the 2nds it was Craig roberts keeping the scorer busy with a well constructed century to help the 2s reach a competitive 202 from there 45 overs.
For the 1sts it was opener Owen Cornford(103no) and skipper Nick Austin(142) setting the pace with a record 253 run partnership to set up the llan innings at 291-2 from there 45 overs.
There were five wicket hall in both games with the ever present Ray bithell bagging 5for for the 2s. And young gun Geriant Jones grabbing 5 against his former team, as the 1sts eased to a 10-0 victory.
Unfortunately the 2s lost out in a tight game with the opposition getting to there target with an over to spare setting up a 6-4 win.
