Llantwit's final away game of the season ended in defeat as they were comfortably beaten by Aber Valley by 3 goals to nil.Aber Valley used their 5 man midfield well and Llantiwt were struggling to deal with their passing and movement. Aber's pressure told midway through the first half as a long kick up field from the keeper found it's way to the Aber striker who's deflected shot flew into the roof of the net. Llantwit started to get back into the game after the goal, but they failed to create enough clear chances to get the equaliser before half time.The second half was similar to the first with Aber's extra man in midfield allowing them to keep the ball and frustrate Llantwit. Llantwit were looking dangerous on the counter attack but again were unable to create many clear chances on goal. Phil Medd had two attempts from range but narrowly missed the target on both occasions. Aber increased their lead midway through the second half when a hopeful shot from around 25 yards slipped through the hands of goalkeeper Dai Connelly and into the net. The game was put to bed shortly after when the Aber Valley striker was put through one-on-one with Connelly, with the Llantwit back four claiming for offside. The whistle didn't come and the Aber striker calmly slotted the ball past Connelly to score the 3rd goal of the game. FT 3-0Llantwit's season comes to an end next Saturday with a home game againt 6th placed Ton & Gelli.
