This year we have lifted the profile of the club in the Mini and junior sections and will hopefully be adding more players and possibly a couple of teams for this season.
Our under 15s of last year finished the season on a high with some fantastic fast paced rugby being played. Now at under 16s there is a lot of expectations for them and we are looking forward to watching some outstanding junior rugby.
Loch Lomond minis are just a treat to watch, They have a lot of games this season and I for one cant wait to see how they fair up stepping up an age group.
Also this season we have our P7 players stepping up to make an S1/S2 junior team, again it will be good to see the boys playing in bigger teams against bigger opponents.
There is the possibility of an under 18s team which if it comes to fruition will be well worth the watching as the players will all be looking at moving up to senior levels.
The 1st and 2nd XVs both have there fixtures through for the season, there are some new players breaking through and some new players coming in to the teams which is fantastic. Combined with full programmes for each team it is looking like a big season for Loch Lomond right through the board.
