NEW YEAR & NEW CHALLENGES

Charging Bull1 Jan 2016 - 17:46

Happy New Year to all of the Chargers players and supporters throughout the world, 2016 is set to be Chargers biggest year yet!!

With the start of the new year Chargers focus will divert from the upcoming Conference League South Season and switch to our third successive Challenge Cup appearance.

The draw will take place in a little over a weeks time, but Chargers are set to start training next Thursday (7th January) on Clapham Common. Stay tuned to our facebook page HERE for more details.

After taking a break from Coaching in 2015 (although he couldn't stay away come finals time) Mark Barnes will once again take the helm of Chargers in 2016. 2015 Coach Richard Knight will stay on as London Premier team coach while Mark will take control of the Conference League South team. They will be joined by one of the club founders in Rob McLean who will be taking on his first assistant Coach role.

With Deon Stephenson and Paul Handley set to take on the team manager roles for the CLS and London Prem teams, Chargers off field team is ready to go!

The first round of the Challenge Cup will take place on Saturday 30th January. Chargers will be hoping for a home draw so that the club's fans can come along and share in the excitement of the Cup. Stay tuned to the clubs social media next week when we will share who (and where) we have drawn.

Any players interested in playing for the club in 2016, make sure you email us HERE with your contact details and a brief playing history and we will add you to the database in order to be kept up to date.

Chargers are still looking for some additional sponsors to join Chargers for 2016. There are a number of levels of sponsorship available starting from as little as £250 ... if you or someone you know would like to know more information then please email the Chairman HERE
