We had 33 entrants in the EURO2012 League with only a weeks notice so I think we will be over 50 for this seasons main competition. It is an open invite and not just for players of Long Ashton FC, although most of you enter and keep up the banter as the results come in throughout the season. For those who haven't entered before it takes about ten minutes to pick your team and then many hours deciding if you should change it. Unlimited changes are allowed up to midnight on August 17th then five other transfer windows throughout the season.
This season we have an option to win money by paying £10 entrance with the top five taking the money on a sliding scale based on the following %'s 50%, 25%, 15%, 6% and 2%.
So if we had 50 people paying £10 each the payout would be:
1st £250
2nd £125
3rd £75
4th £30
5th £10
If we have less/more the %'s stay the same but the amounts paid will differ.
You do not have to pay the £10 and can still enter the League but will not be eligible for any pay out at the end of the season. All money must be with Paul Maggs before the first qualifying game on August 18th.
To enter go to Sun Dream Team, if entered before put in your email address and password to log in, name and pick your side, then go through the process. To join our league click on the "mini league" tab bottom right when your team is complete.
