The North Leicestershire Football League and the Leicestershire District League have announced that they are to merge and create the Leicestershire County Football League.
This has been done to try and preserve open age Men's football. Over preceding seasons the number of teams in both leagues had dwindled. SO to provide greater competition for its embers the two leagues have pooled their teams into one league.
