
Last seasons top scorer Tom Bentham who has been in fine form this season netting 22 times has taken
up the opportunity to test himself at Evo Stik Premier side Nantwich Town..
The club received a 7 day approach for Bentham at 11:29 on Saturday ahead of the Padiham game, following the tie Joint Managers Chris Thomas and John Morrey made the striker aware of the potential move.
Chris said "we discussed the approach after the game and I spoke to Nantwich Manager Jimmy Quinn on Sunday who expressed his desire to sign Tom ahead of their game on Tuesday with Curzon Ashton"
"we gave Nantwich permission to speak to Tom and the have today agreed a deal which will see Bentham sign for Nantwich ahead of Tuesday's game"
