Mason is a forward who joins the club from Bishops Stortford. He was a member of the Stortford under-18s side that fought their way through to play Colchester United in the second round proper of the FA Youth Cup in 2017. He scored twice in extra-time when Stortford beat Boreham Wood in the first round.

Alfie has previously featured for Enfield FC, whilst as a youngster was on the books of West Ham United.
