After over two years at the club, Dangerfield is departing Park Drive to join up with Charlton Athletic, where he will become the Addicks' new Club Secretary.

Having joined the club in October 2019, Ron was initially appointed General Manager, helping with operational matters away from the playing side of things. Following the departure of Ed Garty early in the 2020-21 season, Dangerfield was appointed as Chairman by the clubs new owners and has helped steer the club through the change of ownership and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Ron for his efforts whilst with the club and we wish him the best of luck with his new venture, at Charlton Athletic.
