Message from Martin Losse, Secretary MFC & CHCC

We have said goodbye to Dave Richards, who left with our thanks and best wishes for the future.

We now welcome Michael Shute who will be joining as the Club Manager on Tuesday 20th August 2013.

His most recent experience has been within the NHS at Wythenshawe but
prior to that Michael had experience of Conference and Events Management at the Millennium Copthorne Hotel where he was responsible for events and function management, including weddings and business conferences and private parties . He has also worked as a Concierge Supervisor at the Midland Hotel in Manchester where he was responsible for many aspects of customer care. His experience also covers working as Bar Manager on the Hebridean Princess where he managed the three bars on the ship and all the staff.

More recently he has worked as Catering Manager at the Magistrates' Court in Manchester, which included organising private functions and outside dining during which time he was involved in the marketing and promotion of the facilities.

I hope you will make him feel welcome in the Club and help him settle into his new duties.
