The team coach, Mark Thomas, had this to say:
Finally we got over the line & were crowned U16 League Champions for North Division 1 League on Sunday evening.
The coaching staff are very proud of the what these players have achieved as a team. The group have shown great willingness to learn but also put what we have worked on during practice all season into game situations that has resulted in them becoming league champions with a game to spare and have now earned the right to attend Nationals in May. Looking back over the last 6 months there have been many highlights, but coming out of games in Nottingham, Sheffield and Leeds all before Christmas with 2 points is something not many teams will do as they all have very strong lineups. We remain unbeaten to date & we will be pushing them harder in the run up to Nationals.
