Marine are pleased to announce that Sam Barnes has extended his loan stay at the club until Saturday 27th April.

The young starlet, who came through the Blackburn Rovers Academy system, has been with the Mariners since mid January.

The teenage defender has been a regular in the side since arriving at the Marine Travel Arena.

He made an instant impact on his Marine debut, bagging the winning goal late on in the encounter at Hyde United.

As well as the goal, the 18 year old also picked up the Man of the Match award for his fine display.
