Marist RUFC started life some 48 years ago as part of the Marist Old Boys Association, playing in the early years from a field in Dunswell. When Hull & East Riding vacated the premises of Hull & East Riding sports club (Goddard Avenue) for the salubrious surroundings of 'The Circle Marist happily took up residence and produced some of the best rugby in their history from 'Goddard Avenue' .
