Marlow make the short trip to Hambleden hoping to extend their winning league run to nine games

If they do so they will create a club record for this century as only twice have United equalled this winning streak from the commencement of a season.
Back in 2014/15 they were undefeated until the tenth match but included two drawn games.
The following season they won the opening seven but drew the eighth then in 16/17 they won the first eight but lost the ninth.
17/18 saw eight wins before drawing the ninth so the Hambleden match is the perfect opportunity to break that record, no pressure then.
OK, all the other seasons saw the team playing in the Premier Division and since 2004/5 United have won the title three times along with three BTC cup wins and a Reading Senior Cup win all at the Madejski Stadium.
We are where we are and credit must go to the management team of Ash and Steve for building a very capable squad after two difficult seasons as the players adjusted to the men's game.
The addition of a number of experienced players this season has seen a significant improvement both on and off the pitch and hopefully they can create a record with a win tomorrow against a Hambleden team who will be desperate to put a dent in that eight game streak.
