They became the Darlocks and it didn’t take long for them to ‘exterminate’ their opponents.

It was apparent within minutes that the Darlocks had taken control of the game and with strong play in midfield an opportunity soon arose for Sam Edwards to score the first try with Kristian Powell converting. Driffield worked hard to pull a try back but in the second half outstanding team play by the Darlocks and fast movement of the ball down the line created two try opportunities for Harry Morley with Powell ensuring a 100% conversion rate and a further try to increase the points advantage.

The second game started a little closer with both teams working hard in the scrum. The Darlocks did well to hold their position and win some of the ball against a much larger pack. The outside centre Connor Linathan used his speed and power to score two tries. Ryan Buxton drove hard and charged down the pitch slamming the ball down over the try line for the Darlocks. Kristian converted well and continued to widen the points gap.
James Manning drove hard down the wing and made good ground for Morley to score. Archie Pole fought hard in the ruck to win the ball for the Darlocks and strong tackling by a young player with only one game under his belt James Young shows excellent promise.
