At The Newcastle Biltong Company we use BRITISH Topside beef to make all of our Biltong

Topside beef is one of the leanest (or most fat free) cuts of beef available, taken from the round of the cow. This makes it a perfect cut of beef to use for Biltong, especially when aiming to produce a lean, low fat end product

All of our Biltong contains over 50g protein per 100g bag and unless otherwise stated is MSG free. Our products are clearly labelled with all ingredients used to season our beef so you know exactly what you are getting and to ensure any dietary requirements are satisfied. The majority of our products contain no sugar of any variety, however some flavours may contain trace elements. This is clearly marked on the packaging and in the products section of our website
