Paul and Vics were in from the start and opened up (their house), providing a really solid platform for the rest of the team. As each batter came in, Joe served them up a loosener, which everyone managed to dispatch with ease (a little too much ease in some cases...) and after that he followed up with a steady stream of deliveries throughout the night. James thought he'd been caught out early on, as he only had cash, but he reviewed and realised he had his card on him, so carried on. Although it wouldn't be fair to say that pies were being served up, it was definitely buffet style, and everyone helped themselves with a healthy appetite. Former Captain Greg and current Captain Phil combined delightfully, knocking the ball into space time after time, and rotating the strike. Unfortunately as they were playing pool it started to get a bit boring after the first couple of hours. Pete put on a masterclass of pace and spin, which left Nigel beaten all ends up (again on the pool table) while Phil H sought advice about overseas tour locations (Central America, Poland, Estonia). Jim performed extremely well in the role of keeper; he'd kept Johnny's trophies so well that he was sent back to keep them for another year. Full list of awards as follows:
