Club Ethos


Medway Assassins Skater Hockey Club operates on a not-for-profit basis. It is run by an enthusiastic group of Ice and Roller Hockey Coaches, Managers, Players and Parents. Everyone affiliated with the club is welcomed and encouraged to have a say and play a part in its day-to-day running.

The Club considers the welfare of every child paramount therefore all key club officials are CRB checked and a Child Protection Policy is in place this includes a Players Code of Conduct Agreement. The club has two nominated Child Protection Liaison Officers both of whom are experienced child sports coaches. There are also qualified first aiders present during all training sessions, matches and other events.

The club expects all Players, Coaches and Management to act as ambassadors of the club and to the sport of Skater Hockey and conduct themselves accordingly.

Aims of the club;
To promote Inline Skater Hockey as a competitive sport at all levels.
To be as inclusive as possible.
To maintain a rewarding, competitive and safe environment for all involved.
To endorse sportsmanship, health and fitness to all.
To create an Inline Skater Hockey 'Centre of Excellence'.
To play its part in the community at large.
