Guernsey’s first visit to Met Police looked set fair when on 37 minutes Charlton Gauvin collected the ball on the edge of the penalty area, skipped past three defenders to put Guernsey ahead.
Met had played well but with no real cutting edge, however, began the second half with more determination and on 53 minutes were level through a Mason Galloway free kick from the edge of the area which gave the keeper no chance.
Four minutes later the game was sealed when Ben Mendoza swung a high left footed corner deep into the back post, evading all the players to nestle into the far corner. Despite some frantic last minute flurries Met held on for a deserved win.
