Saturday sees the guys in action against Farnborough FC. Here is a brief preview from first team manager Jim Cooper.
Farnborough's recent form has certainly improved and they are fighting for their lives down at the bottom. They have certainly added quality to their ranks recently in the guise of Dennis Oli, Terrell Forbes and others so the game will be very competitive.
Our own squad has changed significantly. We have recently lost the services of Nathan Campbell, Billy Crook and Joe Turner to VCD Athletic, Enfield Town and Kingstonians. We have added the following players. Roman Michael-Percil has arrived from Grays Athletic. Roman impressed me significantly every time I saw him play. He played very well against us recently so we are thrilled to have him with us. He was an ex Professional at Spurs and is an exciting prospect.
Our newest signing is Andrew Jenkinson. Our opponents will know all about Andy as we signed him from them this week. We have been watching him over the past couple of weeks and when Billy Crook decided to leave, we knew that to build for next season we needed to get players into the club now.
