In poor conditions the Mid District raced into a solid lead and were 17-3 up in the final quarter but the hosts wouldn't lie down and they scored two converted tries to steel a share of the points.

Although the draw wasn't the result the Mid District was hoping for, they know that a win against Monmouth would probably give them a place in this years Inter District final at the Principality Stadium.
