Manager Sean Rogers liaised with Sean Trodden to organise the surprise session at the newly re-developed Boxing Gym.
Sean Trodden put the lads through their paces with a special session that included jogging, sprinting, sprint recovery, bunny hops, sledgehammers, tractor wheels, squats, sit ups, lots of bag work and even some sparring with Aarron Stafford, Jordan Stafford, Tony Kiernan and Gino King at the end of the session.
Sean Rogers, Russ Higgins and Craig Jones took part in the specially designed session that was expertly put on by Sean Trodden.
Manager Sean Rogers is delighted with the night’s work:
"Firstly, a massive thank you to Sean and everyone at Venture Boxing Gym for making this happen. He is not only a top man but an expert and he laid on a fantastic session. All of the lads were buzzing after the work out which was extremely punishing.
I have not seen a harder workout than that in all my time in Football. I am delighted with the attitude the lads showed as it would have been easy to drop out in what was a very demanding session, but they all showed the heart and commitment required on the pitch to continue to fight when the body is telling you to stop. We will hopefully use the venue again to work the lads with Sean's excellent supervision."
