Monton travelled to last seasons Champions Moston Brook and unfortunately returned home with nothing to show for their efforts losing by two goals to one. Possibly a share of the points would have been a fair result but the hosts managed to claim the victory on the day. The Ammies played with good commitment and effort throughout the squad and must now start another good run of results. Monton`s lone goalscorer was Taylor Jones.
