On a marvellous afternoon, thoughts were turned to a glorious April day, 20 years ago when Colin Stephens and his band of warriors lifted the prestigious trophy. Nearly all returned, along with some of their supporters, for an afternoon (and evening re-union).

Thanks to Mick Burton for organising; to Jason Fieldhouse in doing the hard work in getting the players involved; to James Poyner, Trevor Richmond and Colin Stevens for shortish entertaining speeches; to Nigel Watts for taking the photo's; to Pete Seabourne for bringing the Leeds Tykes team to the club for a celebratory drink after beating Sheffield Tigers to gain promotion back to National 1; to the catering staff and the bar staff for coping with demands of a full clubhouse.
