Ben Sayer (Midfield) Signed from Spennymoor Town. Ex Blyth Spartans. Twenty year old Ben started his career with Newcastle United and went on to play Reserve team football for the Magpies before his release in 2012 where he joined Team Northumbria. He was called up to the England ‘C’ squad last season but missed out through injury. Ben is a creative central midfielder with a superb range of passing as well as a determined and hard-working nature.
